1010music is known for pioneering products that combine functionality and ease of use for modular musicians. The bitbox micro Black Edition continues this tradition and expands the creative possibilities of sampling, looping and sound processing in a compact format. The new black front panel gives the module a modern and professional look.
The bitbox micro offers up to 24 stereo voices when all samples are stored in the internal 64 MB memory, or eight stereo streams that can be played directly from a microSD card (file size up to 4 GB). With eight stereo sample pads per preset, you can trigger single samples, multisamples, clips, slicers or granular sounds. Control is intuitive via a 2-inch touchscreen, which enables direct and haptic operation.
The sampling functions of the bitbox micro include recording sounds directly in the module or loading files from the microSD card. Loops can be created precisely with bar-based length, and the internal re-sampling of the master out allows creative processing without using additional cables. Automated multisampling via CV or MIDI opens up even more sound shaping possibilities.
The eight inputs of the bitbox micro can be flexibly configured - as stereo audio inputs, up to eight gate or CV inputs or as clock inputs. The pads can be freely routed to three stereo outputs, which can also be used as six mono outputs. Two integrated effects, delay and reverb, provide professional sound refinement.
The parameters can be controlled via CV or MIDI, and the MIDI Learn function facilitates integration into existing setups. DC-coupled inputs and outputs allow the recording and playback of control voltages. The module supports both TRS-MIDI adapter types (Type A and Type B) and thus adapts seamlessly to different requirements.
The bitbox micro Black Edition has twice the processing power of the first bitbox generation. Despite its compact size of only 18 HP, it offers impressive sound quality and performance. With a weight of approx. 235.8 g, it is easy to transport and fits seamlessly into any Eurorack system.
