The amps of the Vox UL700 series are considered to be an absolute rarity due to their short production period and have, among other things, shaped the legendary guitar sound of the Beatles album "Revolver". Dr. Robert emulates, thanks to elaborate development and selected, high-quality components, the concise sound and character of the "Normal Channel" of the Vox UL730 S/N: 3042.

The unique sound of the vintage amp is due to the self-willed midrange filter, which can be operated via the "Middle" control and, depending on the setting, makes the sound clean and "naked", or boosts the mids to a lively crunch sound, without compromising the transparency and dynamics of the sound.

Since the UL730's preamp power is very limited and makes powerful gain sounds difficult to achieve, Aclam Guitars gave the effect pedal the "Mach Schau!" function based on a specially designed JFET transistor circuit to enable assertive solo & overdrive sounds. A dedicated knob lets you turn up the gain and volume of the "Mach Schau!" channel all the way to massive distortion sounds.
