With the Adam Hall 4 STAR CATBOX XF3, up to four balanced audio or DMX signals can be transmitted via a single network cable (Cat.6a) - space-saving, reliable and practical. This professional multicore adapter from the 4 STAR SERIES is ideal for stages, studios, theaters or permanent installations where efficient signal routing and a clear overview are required.
The CATBOX XF3 is compatible with all other Adam Hall CATBOX models thanks to wiring in accordance with AES72 scheme 5E. Whether with etherCON® or standard RJ45 cable - the connections remain secure and the signals clear. And the numbered, black XLR connectors allow each signal to be quickly assigned - for efficient setups without confusion.
The CATBOX XF3 offers four XLR 3-pin female connectors (Adam Hall K4CXF3BLK) and an RJ-45 round plug socket for simple transmission via Cat.6a cables. It replaces a classic 4-channel multicore and is significantly lighter, space-saving and modular.
Perfectly suited for the transmission of balanced audio signals or DMX data - for microphones, DI boxes, submixes or light signals, for example. Thanks to the standardized pin assignment, all Adam Hall CATBOX models can be freely combined with each other - regardless of whether 3-pin or 5-pin XLR is used.
Each of the four outputs is provided with a braided jacket in addition to the PVC outer jacket - for optimum protection against mechanical stress, pulling, kinking and interference. The 0.3 m long outlets ensure maximum connection flexibility without creating excessive cable clutter.
The XLR sockets used have silver-plated contacts for optimum conductivity, a long service life and reliable signal quality - even with frequent plugging and unplugging. The solid RJ45 socket is sturdily installed and can be used with both classic patch cables and etherCON® cables.
Whether you want to combine a Cat connection with another CATBOX adapter solution (e.g. XF3 to XM3) or expand your existing multicore system - the CATBOX system from Adam Hall offers maximum flexibility and compatibility.
