Adam Hall is known worldwide for its practical solutions in the field of audio, lighting and media technology. The products in the 4 Star ECON series combine professional specifications with economic efficiency - developed for daily use on stages, in studios or for installations. The CAT6a 50m network cable is the perfect combination of range, signal stability and durability.
The cable complies with the CAT6a standard and supports transmission frequencies of up to 500 MHz. This makes it suitable for gigabit networks, audio-over-IP, lighting control systems, digital media connections and other bandwidth-intensive applications. The precise twisted pair twisting of the four wire pairs (4 x 2 x 0.22 mm²) ensures stable and interference-free signal transmission over the entire length.
The S/FTP shielding consists of a combination of foil shielding per wire pair and a copper braid shield that protects the entire cable. This double shielding ensures maximum immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI) - particularly important for long cable runs and in environments with many electrical components.
The cable is equipped with robust RJ45 plugs in etherCON® housings at both ends (model: Adam Hall K4CCAT6YS). These plugs, specially developed for professional use, offer mechanical safety, protection against accidental disconnection and optimum conductivity. This makes the cable ideally suited for rough everyday use on tour or at events with frequent set-up and dismantling.
The PVC sheathing with a diameter of 8 mm makes the cable hard-wearing and yet flexible enough for easy installation - even at a length of 50 meters. The OFC conductor material used (oxygen-free copper) guarantees low-loss transmission - even over long distances. The possible temperature range of -20 °C to +60 °C allows use under almost all conditions.
