The Adam Hall AHMCTXL V2 Multi-Cable Tester is a professionally equipped testing device designed for fast, easy, and reliable cable testing in studio, stage, or installation environments. With support for 11 common connector types and the option to choose between automatic and manual test modes, this tool is suitable for both professional users and ambitious home users.
Thanks to the clear LED chain display, continuity and pin assignments are immediately visible. Two included test probes also allow for testing of non-standard formats, loose wires, or permanently installed cabling. With its compact, rugged steel housing, the AHMCTXL V2 is not only extremely durable but also ideal for mobile use.
Support for 3- and 5-pin XLR, 6.3 mm & 3.5 mm mono and stereo jacks, 4- & 8-pin Speakon, RCA, DIN/MIDI, USB, RJ-45, and S-Video makes the AHMCTXL V2 one of the most versatile cable testers on the market. With just one device, nearly all relevant signal connections in audio, lighting, and networking technology can be tested—ideal for musicians, technicians, DJs, and system integrators.
Auto Scan mode checks pin assignments in a predetermined sequence, while manual mode allows for targeted testing of individual lines—for detailed troubleshooting and professional applications. The on/off switch and a separate scan button ensure intuitive operation.
The tester is housed in a powder-coated sheet steel enclosure that is protected against mechanical stress, scratches, and impacts. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 120 × 200 × 40 mm and light weight of just 950 g, it’s easy to transport—perfect for mobile use on stage or at events.
Power is supplied by a standard 9V battery, allowing for flexible use without an external power source. A carrying case for safe transport and storage is included.
