Force features an 8x8 clip-launch matrix with RGB LEDs, a 7-inch full-color capacitive multi-touch display, 8 touch-sensitive knobs with graphic OLED displays, 2 audio inputs, 4 audio outputs, MIDI and CV I/O. This versatility grants the user unprecedented creative freedom and expression - all without being connected to a computer.

Intuitive, clip-based workflow is at the core of Akai Force, providing the creative foundation for any performance. You can combine various modes - plug-in tracks, MPC-style drum tracks, audio tracks, key group tracks, MIDI tracks and CV tracks - to specify the type of clips you want, then shape them to your liking via step sequencers, drum pad performances or notes. Be it via the built-in grid or using smart chord, progression and scale options.
