Professional Midi Stereo Digital Sampler, and last generation of Akai S series sampler series with new features and expanded features.

The S3000XL unlike the S2000 is equipped additionally with a factory extended control panel with large display and 8 individual outputs. In addition, an optional internal hard drive can be upgraded, which allows HD recording function.

The Akai S-series set in the 1990s, the global standard for professional digital sampling are both in the leading recording, post production and project studios as well as in the hands of creative artists.

The new features of the XL models and the S2000 is bursting with power and flexibility. Among the skills that have made the S3000 Series the world standard, now joined by new features:
• A simplified multi-mode, the multi-timbral sequencing and assembly of the layer considerably.
• An optional multi-effects board, which provides four separate channels of digital studio-quality effects.
• The memory expansion using common SIMM chips.
• Optional flash memory boards to your favorite sounds are ready for use immediately after switching on.
• APM (Assignable Program Modulation) creates the possibility of any modulation source (mod wheel, pitch bend, aftertouch, velocity, key position, LFO, envelopes and definable MIDI controllers) to any desired control input to be routed. Especially for natural sounds extremely useful.
• Compatible with E-mu and Roland sound libraries.
