The AKG C636 BLK is a premium condenser microphone for stage professionals. Vocals, speech and instruments are reproduced in studio quality in high resolution. Due to the linear frequency response, the sound remains authentic in all nuances. The microphone diaphragm has excellent vibration and impulse characteristics. Even very loud signals up to 150 dB are transmitted distortion-free. The AKG C636 BLK has a cardioid polar pattern. The microphone is therefore well shielded from side-incident sound and insensitive to feedback.

A multi-layer windscreen effectively suppresses pop and hissing sounds. The microphone capsule is suspended with double vibration damping so that handle noise is avoided as much as possible.

The rugged metal housing and spring steel grid cap are designed for long life and durability. The membrane is gold vaporized and insensitive to moisture and corrosion.
