Powerful partner for electronic drums
The Alesis Strike Amp 8 MK2 is a powerful, bi-amped loudspeaker that has been specially developed for electronic drums. With an output power of 2000 watts, it offers enough headroom for almost any performance or rehearsal. The robust 8-inch woofer and 1-inch high-frequency compression driver are tuned to deliver the most accurate and authentic reproduction of acoustic and electronic drum sounds across the entire spectrum. The Strike Amp 8 MK2's performance is exceptional, with a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB and a frequency range of 52 Hz to 20 kHz, wide enough to deliver the full boom of your kick drum to the crystal-clear snap of your snare and hi-hats.
All the connections you need - including Bluetooth
The Strike Amp 8 MK2 has two XLR + 1/4" combo inputs for connecting your electronic drums and/or a multipad instrument, each with their own independent volume controls. You can also connect a mobile device wirelessly to the Strike Amp 8 MK2 via Bluetooth, allowing you to stream music wirelessly during rehearsals or set breaks. There's also an XLR output to connect more than one speaker together or send the signal from the Strike Amp to a front-of-house mix.
Adapts to any stage and any room
On stages and in rehearsal rooms, it can be easy to get a dense and muddy sound as the low frequencies of different instruments fight each other. The Strike Amp 8 MK2 features an HPF EQ switch that can be used to quickly pull out unwanted frequencies to ensure your sound blends perfectly into the mix. Unwanted electrical noise can also be a common problem; the Strike Amp 8 MK2's ground lift switch can eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
Road-ready, lightweight design
The Strike Amp 8 MK2 is robust, yet lightweight and easy to transport (9.53 kg), making it easier than ever to load up at a gig or in the rehearsal room. While the Strike Amp 8 MK2 can be used in its intended wedge position, its versatile design means it can also be used in an upright or pole-mounted position, making it easier to direct sound where it's needed, which is especially helpful for outdoor gigs or other venues where PA backline is limited.
