The AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X offers direct access to cloud-based rekordbox libraries as well as millions of songs from compatible streaming services. Via built-in Wi-Fi, tracks can be played using rekordbox CloudDirectPlay. Additionally, StreamingDirectPlay supports platforms such as Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal.
The NFC touch login is particularly convenient. Personal settings and playlists can be accessed instantly by holding a mobile device with rekordbox for iOS or Android installed up to the player. Combined with cloud connectivity, the AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X enables a highly mobile setup where even a smartphone is all you need to DJ with your own music library.
The AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X is the first AlphaTheta multi-player to support the new CoBeat service. This service allows for greater audience engagement during the performance. By scanning a QR code, guests gain access to a pre-selected track catalog.
The audience can vote on songs or submit additional music requests. This information is collected directly on the AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X and displayed on the browse screen. This allows song requests to be integrated directly into the set, if desired.
In addition, attendees can add emojis to others’ music requests, sharing the mood on the dance floor in real time. These reactions appear as pop-ups on the DJ’s smartphone. CoBeat can be enabled or disabled at any time, depending on whether audience requests should be part of the performance.
The AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X was developed to the same high quality standards as the flagship CDJ-3000X. Eight hot cue buttons are available for creative performances, allowing you to quickly and intuitively access key song positions.
A Beat Loop control enables instant loop playback at the desired beat length with the push of a button. Beat Sync and Beat Jump are also available. The medium-sized jog wheel features a rotation indicator and a non-slip surface, supporting precise operation and secure handling.
