Two capacitive touch strips for pitch bend and modulation replace classic wheels and enable intuitive real-time manipulation. This allows you to incorporate sound progressions, vibrato or modulations directly into your performance.

The polyphonic step sequencer allows up to 64 steps with 8-voice polyphony. Pattern chaining further expands the creative possibilities so that longer and more complex sequences can be realized. Would you like to spontaneously transform an arpeggio into a sequence and then edit it further? With the Arturia KeyStep 37 MK2 you can do just that.

The integrated 16-mode arpeggiator offers generative pattern styles as well as classic variants. In combination with the mutate, spice and dice functions, new variations are constantly being created. You can change octave positions, adjust note lengths, add rests or overdub additional notes. Even bend and modulation movements can be recorded directly into sequences.

Four dedicated encoders provide quick access to central parameters of the arpeggiator, sequencer and mutate. The performance-oriented workflow reduces menu depths to a minimum. In addition, the encoders can be flexibly assigned to user-defined MIDI CC or CV/gate destinations.

When it comes to connectivity, the Arturia KeyStep 37 MK2 is particularly flexible. In addition to USB-C-MIDI (class-compliant and bus-powered), full-size MIDI-DIN In/Out and Sync In/Out in 3.5 mm format are available. Four CV outputs - Pitch, Gate, Mod 1 and Mod 2 - enable direct control of modular systems. These can be individually assigned to velocity, aftertouch, mod wheel or other parameters.

A sustain or expression pedal input (TRS), a power switch and a Kensington lock socket round off the features. With a weight of just 1.09 kg and compact dimensions of 547 × 148 × 43 mm, the controller is also extremely mobile. Thanks to its low power consumption, it can even be operated with an iPad® (Camera Connection Kit required).
