It can be dynamically controlled with modulation sources such as LFO, envelopes or the modulation matrix to create lively sound progressions. The modulation matrix offers five sources and seven destinations, three of which are freely configurable - a powerful tool that elevates the MicroFreak far beyond an entry-level synthesizer.
The supplied gooseneck microphone is connected directly to the 3.5 mm headphone socket. The microphone gain and a noise gate can be adjusted via the new utility menu - ideal for performative applications and sonic precision. Particularly exciting: the capacitive keyboard with 25 keys and polyphonic aftertouch allows expressive playing techniques, even though it has no moving parts. This is complemented by a touch bar and a high-contrast OLED display for displaying and editing parameters.
Thanks to the paraphonic architecture with up to four voices, the MicroFreak can also play polyphonic sequences - perfect for ambient and electro arrangements. The integrated arpeggiator and the 64-step sequencer with automation tracks invite you to jam, sketch and perform. Whether studio or live stage: with CV/gate outputs, MIDI in/out, USB and clock integration, the MicroFreak can be integrated in a variety of ways.
