The ASM Diosynth marks a new era in the field of electronic wind instruments. With its hybrid sound generation - a combination of advanced synthesis engine and high-quality sample playback engine - this innovative instrument offers an enormous tonal range. From the natural sound of classical wind instruments to complex electronic sound textures, the Diosynth combines the best of both worlds in a single, powerful instrument.
Specially developed for wind players, the ASM Diosynth sets itself apart from other digital wind instruments with its uniquely realistic playing feel. Mechanical keys instead of typical flat buttons simulate the haptic experience of a real saxophone or other acoustic wind instruments. This creates a direct, intuitive approach to musical performance - ideal for musicians who want to make the transition from acoustic to electronic as seamless as possible.
Behind the ASM Diosynth is the company ASM (Ashun Sound Machines), known for its creative and technologically advanced musical instruments. ASM is dedicated to providing musicians with innovative solutions that promote creative freedom while delivering the highest level of performance. The Diosynth is the result of many years of research and development in the field of electronic wind instruments - a product that sets new standards in terms of both sound and ergonomics.
ASM combines state-of-the-art sensor technology, extensive sound libraries and a sophisticated user interface in a portable, lightweight instrument. The Diosynth has succeeded in combining an intuitive playing feel with extensive sound control - a real game changer for wind players, sound designers and experimental musicians.
At the heart of the ASM Diosynth are two powerful sound modules: A sample playback engine with 128 sampled instruments and a synthesis engine with 219 waveforms. Whether woodwind or brass, double reed instruments or strings - the variety of timbres opens up countless possibilities for musical experiments and authentic performances.
The Diosynth has 768 patch memory locations, divided into six banks of 128 patches each. This gives you quick access to your sounds at any time - live or in the studio. This is supported by an OLED display with battery level indicator and a clearly arranged control panel including a clickable encoder and mode buttons for transposition, favorites, setup, save and sound/edit.
The expressive playability is particularly noteworthy: breath force sensor, bite sensor, gyroscope, pressure-sensitive buttons, X/Y joystick and three freely programmable switches offer you comprehensive control over dynamics, tone progression and modulation. The Diosynth can be played over a range of nine octaves using four octave keys - including +/- 3 octaves and a transposition of +/- 11 semitones. Scale and key lock as well as master tuning between 380 and 500 Hz also make it perfect for ensemble playing or adjustments to non-standard tunings.
The ASM Diosynth also impresses in terms of sound with its comprehensive effects section. Two insert effect sections and master send effects give you access to reverbs, delays, modulation effects, distortions, EQs and dynamics processors. From classic reverb to amp simulations or auto-wah, the Diosynth offers everything that modern sound design requires.
The connection options also leave nothing to be desired: Line-out (6.35 mm), headphone output (3.5 mm), MIDI in/out (5-pin DIN), USB MIDI & audio as well as Bluetooth MIDI and audio (input only). An internal speaker with 2 watts of output power also makes the Diosynth the ideal practice instrument - anywhere and at any time.
The ASM Diosynth is more than just a wind synth - it's an extension of your musical expression. Whether you play traditional wind instruments, produce electronic music or are simply looking for a versatile, portable instrument, the Diosynth combines feel, sound quality and technological innovation in an ergonomic body.
With its combination of realistic feel, dynamic control and extensive sound options, the Diosynth offers a playing experience that was previously only possible with acoustic instruments - complemented by the unlimited creative freedom of digital sound design. Whether as a solo instrument, in a live setup or in the studio - the ASM Diosynth opens up a new dimension of music-making.
The Diosynth is the ideal choice, especially for wind players who want to explore electronic soundscapes. Included accessories such as two mouthpieces, a sturdy carrying strap, a hard case and various adapters make it ready for immediate use - whether on tour, in the rehearsal room or at home.
