Description

The Audac DSP 40 is a professional quality DAB/DAB+/FM tuner. It offers access to a wide range of radio stations and delivers excellent audio reproduction. The radio stations can be set manually or automatically and up to 10 preferred channels can be stored internally and recalled easily. Operation is via a 2.8" TFT display, a multifunction rotary encoder and 4 buttons on the front of the main unit. This ensures intuitive, user-friendly operation, so that even inexperienced users can easily manage operation and configuration. The display shows information about the respective radio station (via RDS/Radiotext) and the signal strength. The output level can be individually adjusted, and Dynamic Range Compression (DRC) provides improved speech intelligibility at low volumes and in environments with strong background noise. Other functions such as mono/stereo switching (FM) always ensure the best possible reception. The antenna connector is designed as an F-connector and is suitable for connecting the antenna cable supplied as well as any other external antenna with 75? coaxial cable. The balanced stereo line output is designed as a 3-pole terminal strip. The system can also be integrated into home and industrial automation systems via the RS-232 communication interface, and the optional 2.4 GHz remote control allows control outside of sight.
