Description

The EPA 152 from Audac is a particularly energy-efficient 2-channel power amplifier. It switches to standby when no audio signal is present. The power consumption in standby mode is less than one watt. The low weight and compact dimensions make the 1U rack unit the ideal solution for mobile applications and fixed installations, and the Class D technology ensures excellent efficiency and outstanding sound quality. In addition, the fully passively cooled design ensures maximum reliability with minimal maintenance. Thanks to various special functions and advanced protection circuits, the output stage is optimally protected against DC faults, short-circuits, overheating and overload. The inputs are designed as balanced XLR connectors, and XLR outputs are also available for looping through the signal (link-through function). The loudspeakers are connected via terminal strips.
