The optional MI/ODI/O add-on card, which is sold separately, expands the MAYA44 MKII's or Prodigy 192's capabilities with 24-bit/96kHz S/PIDIF optical (TosLink) input and coaxial 24-bit/192kHz I/O, along with a 1-in/1-out MIDI interface.
The shown cable, which is included in the package offers coaxial digital I/O and the MIDI-ports. Furthermore you will find the optical TOSLink input on the back of the card itself. Installation is very easy: just connect the included cable internaly with the Prodigy 192.
MI/ODI/O does not need an additional IRQ, no external power and no driver-installation. It doesn't even takes a PCI slot, just a free case slot is needed. It offers perfect synchronous timing of audio and MIDI.
