The choice of wood for the AR61S/ACE is Baton Rouge's excellent success - the fine-grained German spruce in massive execution brings a lively, lively The sound is rounded off by the warmth of the mahogany plywood and is therefore of a very high quality and mature character. The curved, relatively flat body shape (in comparison to the dreadnought) leads to a comfortable playing feeling and also to a tidy bass foundation, less massive than with their bigger dreadnought or jumbo sisters.
