The Baton Rouge X11S/F-W is a high-quality acoustic guitar in folk format which, with its wide neck profile, is particularly suitable for guitarists who prefer more space between the strings - ideal for fingerstyle players or those switching from classical guitars. Thanks to its combination of a solid top, selected tonewoods and an open, natural look, it is not only a real highlight in its price range in terms of sound, but also visually.
The X11S/F-W is equipped with a solid spruce top, which ensures a brilliant, open and dynamic sound. In combination with mahogany sides and back, it produces a balanced sound character with clear highs, warm mids and a pleasant depth - perfect for a wide range of musical styles from folk to pop to singer/songwriter.
The 48 mm wide nut offers significantly more space between the strings than conventional acoustic guitars - this facilitates precise fingering and reduces accidental mutes when playing complex chords. The mahogany neck with its 630 mm short scale length fits comfortably in the hand and allows comfortable playing - especially for smaller hands or fingerpickers.
The guitar comes with an Ovangkol fingerboard and bridge, which are not only visually appealing, but also robust and sound-enhancing. Nubone is used for the nut and bridge - a high-quality material with excellent sound transmission that is often used as a sustainable alternative to bone.
The tuners in an open antique chrome look ensure stable tuning and emphasize the vintage charm of the guitar. The D'Addario EXP11 strings deliver an inherently balanced, long-lasting sound.
The natural satin finish with open pore structure preserves the acoustic properties of the wood and gives the guitar an elegant, minimalist look.
