The DUAL CUBE BASS LX features a custom stereo speaker system in a modern cabinet design. You won't believe the big, defined sound that comes out of this compact amp. There are five different preamp types to choose from, with neutral sounds for studio recording and slap playing styles, vintage sounds for classic styles, and modern, aggressive sounds for heavy genres. With its natural feel and response based on BOSS' decades of amp development experience, the DUAL CUBE BASS LX provides an ever-inspiring platform for you to hone your skills and explore new techniques.

New directions for your sound

DUAL CUBE BASS LX offers a wide range of effects specifically designed for use with basses, including numerous effects with stereo sound. Shape your basic sound with Compressor or Drive, add more timbres with Touch Wah, Flanger or Chorus, and add spatial depth to your sound with Delay or Reverb. Each amp type has three user memory locations where you can store and quickly recall gain, EQ and effect setups. With the DUAL CUBE BASS LX Editor for Mac or Windows, you can dive even deeper into sound shaping and access effect variations and detailed parameters.

Feel the groove

Make your practice sessions even more interesting and productive with the powerful built-in Rhythm Guide. Choose from nine rhythm types, each with three variations. They range from simple metronome to realistic drum grooves for rock, jazz, metal, Latin and other genres. In the DUAL CUBE BASS LX Editor, you can discover a total of 91 rhythm variations and save your favorites in the amp. And thanks to the high-performance stereo speakers, rhythms and backing music ring out in all their glory for an immersive experience.

Get out of your practice room

With its extremely flexible connection options, the DUAL CUBE BASS LX leaves the application possibilities of other desktop amplifiers far behind. Use the XLR stereo line output to connect the amp directly to your PA system live on stage. At the same time, record mix-ready sounds directly into music software on your computer or mobile device via USB or i-CUBE Link. For live streams, you can record your voice via a headphone microphone and send the signal together with the bass sound to the USB and i-CUBE Link outputs. Plus, the amp can be powered by either the AC adapter or batteries, so you can play it anywhere.

Expand your possibilities

Optional FS Series footswitches give you complete hands-free control of the Rhythm Guide and let you build your performances layer by layer using the built-in looper. For even more possibilities, use the optional Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adapter in conjunction with a smartphone or tablet. Stream music wirelessly from your device and play along. Or use the iOS/Android version of the DUAL CUBE BASS LX Editor to control functions remotely. At the same time, pair the EV-1-WL Wireless MIDI Expression Pedal with the amp to control wah and volume wirelessly.
