The Boss GX-1B bass effect processor impresses with its sophisticated, space-saving design, which is ideal for mobile use. With its dimensions of 307 mm x 149 mm x 56 mm (WxDxH) and a weight of just 1.2 kg, it fits easily into gig bags and suitcases and is always ready for use - whether in the studio, on stage or on the road.
Inside, high-precision signal processing with 24-bit AD and 32-bit DA converters and 32-bit floating point processing at 48 kHz sampling rate is at work. The result: crystal-clear, dynamic and nuanced sound that accurately reproduces even the finest playing styles. This is supported by 16 realistic-sounding amplifier types that are specially designed for bass - from classic vintage models to modern high-gain tones.
With over 130 effects from the BOSS catalog, the GX-1B offers a huge tonal range. Eight effects blocks that can be used in parallel allow complex signal paths, while an integrated volume pedal and a noise suppressor round off the sound. All effect parameters can be arranged in freely configurable effect chains and saved in 99 user presets. In addition, 99 ready-to-play factory presets are included.
Intuitive control is provided by three footswitches and an expression pedal with toe switch - all fully customizable. For even more control, up to two external footswitches or an additional expression pedal can be connected. Alternatively, wireless control is possible via the optional BOSS wireless pedals.
The GX-1B is equipped with Bluetooth® so you can jam wirelessly to music from your smartphone or tablet. The processor can be seamlessly integrated into your home studio via USB-C - including direct recording to a DAW and comprehensive control via the BOSS Tone Studio app. This is compatible with macOS, Windows, iOS and Android and offers in-depth sound design as well as practice functions, metronome, rhythm accompaniment and access to the BOSS Tone Exchange platform.
