Based on advanced BOSS MDP technology, the NS-1X reduces noise and hiss without compromising the natural sound and feel of your guitar or bass. While the Reduction mode ensures a quiet rig in a wide variety of setups, the Gate mode impresses with its ultra-fast performance for precise high-gain riffs that sound sharp and concise at all times. The NS-1X is an indispensable, versatile and intuitive tool for eliminating distracting noise when practicing, performing and recording.

Especially in high-gain setups, noise and background hiss can be a problem when using guitars and basses. The MDP approach in the NS-1X works quickly and transparently in any application, eliminating unnatural attack and decay artifacts that can occur with conventional noise reduction systems. To do this, high-speed digital technology analyzes the input signal in real time on multiple levels, enabling extremely precise signal processing that provides just the right amount of noise reduction for any playing style or venue.
