The three sensors detect every playing movement exactly, even during fast repetitions, and transmit them precisely to the multi-dimensional AiR sound generation.
With a maximum polyphony of 192 voices and 22 high-quality tones - including Grand Piano, Electric Piano, Strings, Harpsichord, Jazz Organ, Choir and much more. - the AP-270 offers plenty of tonal variety for classical repertoire, modern music or creative improvisation. The integrated effects (brilliance, reverb, chorus, DSP) as well as the acoustic simulator with damper sound and hammer resonance make playing particularly expressive.
The built-in Concert Play mode allows you to play along with 10 orchestral pieces - either in listening, practice or play mode. There is also a music library with 60 integrated songs and the option to download additional songs. The duet mode allows the keyboard to be divided into two identical tone ranges - ideal for lessons.
With two headphone outputs (6.3 mm stereo jack), silent playing is also possible at any time of day - ideal for making music together or practicing. The USB-B port makes it easy to connect the AP-270 to a PC, Mac or tablet to use learning apps, DAWs or MIDI software. The 16-fold multitimbral MIDI reception also enables versatile control options.
The integrated MIDI recorder allows real-time recording with up to two tracks and a total of 5,000 notes - perfect for recording practice results or composing your own pieces. Practical functions such as transposition, tuning (415.5 Hz - 465.9 Hz), temperament (equal temperament + 16 additional scales) and a control panel lock are also available.
The three integrated pedals - damper, sostenuto and soft - offer complete control over the sound shaping, as you would expect from an acoustic grand piano. Thanks to the automatic switch-off function, the instrument switches itself off automatically after approx. 4 hours of inactivity (can be deactivated).
