JP4-KBD MIDI retrofit enables Roland Jupiter-4 to be controlled via MIDI. You can remotely control the keyboard and speed of the arpeggiator by MIDI commands. The instrument then works like polyphonic MIDI sound expander.
Instrument's keyboard can be controlled manually and via MIDI Note On/Off commands simultaneously; the keyboard can be transposed in whole range of MIDI notes.
Four modes of MIDI notes priority can be chosen (Last / Higher / Lower / None).
Instrument's tone generators can be detuned by Pitch Wheel MIDI command (in semitone steps). The bend range can be set from 0 to +-2 octaves.
Arpeggiator can be synchronized with internal instrument's tempo generator or with external MIDI clock.
Number of MIDI channel for MIDI communication is user programmable. OMNI mode can be chosen, alternatively.
Default values of all interface's parameters are user programmable - they can be stored into memory.
