The Cordial CAT 5 CSE10NH5e PUR is a professional CAT5e data cable designed specifically for use in demanding live and event environments. With a length of 10 meters, high-quality HIROSE® RJ45 connectors, and NEUTRIK® etherCON® cable connector protection, this cable offers maximum reliability for the transmission of audio networks, lighting signals, and Ethernet data. The robust PUR jacket makes it ideal for outdoor use, mobile applications, and stage operations—even under challenging conditions.
For many years, the Cordial brand has stood for outstanding cable quality in the audio, video, and data sectors. The German manufacturer places great emphasis on durable materials, high manufacturing standards, and practical solutions for professional use. The CSE10NH5e PUR is a prime example of Cordial’s focus on practicality: it combines reliable signal transmission with maximum mechanical durability.
Whether in everyday touring, in the studio, or in permanently installed network infrastructures—Cordial cables are known for their robust construction and high signal quality. Through collaboration with component manufacturers such as NEUTRIK® and HIROSE®, this network cable offers a professional all-in-one solution for a wide variety of applications.
The cable is based on the CCAT 5e PUR cable sold by the meter, a highly flexible and durable cable type featuring total shielding (S/UTP). The design features AWG 26/19 inner conductors with 19 fine strands per conductor, enabling high flexibility and tight bend radii—ideal for mobile use and frequent coiling.
The conductor insulation consists of solid PE (polyethylene) with a diameter of 1.03 mm. The PUR outer jacket reliably protects the cable from mechanical stress, UV radiation, and chemicals—making the cable ideally suited for indoor and outdoor applications. The total jacket diameter is 6.5 mm ±0.2 mm.
The capacitance between the conductors is < 50 pF/m, which ensures stable signal quality at high frequencies. The conductor resistance is 140 Ω/km, which has a positive effect on range and signal strength. In addition, the cable supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) in accordance with IEEE 802.3af-2003 with up to 15.4 W. The maximum PoE channel length is 67 meters.
The connector area is protected by NEUTRIK® etherCON® housings—an industry standard for particularly durable RJ45 connections. The HIROSE® RJ45 connector inside ensures reliable data transmission even under vibration or tensile stress. A transparent heat-shrink tubing also allows for easy cable labeling—a useful feature for quick setup in the event industry.
In the world of professional event technology, broadcast productions, and mobile audio systems, reliable connections are essential—and this is exactly where the Cordial CSE10NH5e PUR sets the standard. Not only is it reelable and highly flexible, but it also offers mechanical durability—essential for the rigors of daily stage use.
The combination of a PUR jacket, S/UTP shielding, and high-quality molded connectors ensures an exceptionally long service life. At the same time, the CAT5e category (100 MHz) guarantees reliable transmission of digital audio formats such as Dante®, AVB, EtherSound™ as well as lighting control protocols such as Art-Net and sACN.
The 10-meter cable is ideal for patch connections, device connection cables, or temporary network connections at events and in studios. Its well-designed construction makes it the best choice for professional users who refuse to compromise on quality, durability, and ease of use.
