Description

For the S/PDIF digital interface cable CPDS CC, the (word clock) bulk cable CDS 122 is assembled (7x 0.20 mm conductor construction, a conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm², 75 Ohm characteristic impedance).

The conical, gold-plated RCA plugs are from REAN made by Neutrik®. It is used in the studio, DJ and consumer electronics sectors and is used for the low-loss connection of digital end devices.

The SPDIF standard and word clock require a characteristic impedance of 75 ohms, AES/EBU 110 ohms. Only then is digital audio transmission via cable not subject to any interference.The CPDS CC fulfills precisely these requirements.
