Are you looking for a durable instrument cable that’s especially well-suited for the stage, rehearsal rooms, and regular live performances? The Cordial CRI 3 RP Silent 3 m Angled/Straight is a high-quality instrument cable featuring a 90° silentPLUG® and a length of 3 meters. It connects a right-angle 6.3 mm mono jack with silentPLUG® on the instrument end to a straight 6.3 mm mono jack on the other end.
Cordial’s legendary CRI PP instrument cable is also available with a right-angle NEUTRIK® silentPLUG®. It is precisely this 90° version that makes the Cordial CRI 3 RP Silent 3 m Angled/Straight particularly practical for guitar and bass. The plug sits close to the instrument and allows for silent plugging and unplugging.
A reliable cable is crucial, especially during live performances. Unwanted crackling noises when plugging or unplugging can be distracting, particularly when amplifiers or the signal path are already active. The silentPLUG® on the Cordial CRI 3 RP Silent 3 m Angled/Straight Jack Cable is designed to make plugging in and unplugging quieter and to make everyday life on stage more pleasant.
A key feature of the Cordial CRI 3 RP Silent 3 m Angled/Straight Jack is the right-angle NEUTRIK® silentPLUG®. This plug is a 6.3 mm angled mono SILENT jack and is particularly suitable for instruments where an angled plug fits more comfortably than a straight one.
On the other end is a 6.3 mm mono jack. This makes the cable classically designed for instrument applications and allows it to be used, for example, between a guitar or bass and an amplifier. The connector brand is NEUTRIK®, which aligns with the cable’s high-quality design.
In terms of roadworthiness, the Cordial CRI 3 RP Silent 3 m Angled/Straight is a clear front-runner. The cable used is CGK ROAD 75. This cable is designed for the rigors of everyday stage use and is built to withstand extreme stage conditions.
The outer jacket is made of PVC. The conductor arrangement is specified as a coaxial design. The material listed is bare copper. The partially gold-plated, highly conductive contacts of the green plug on the amp side are also among the quality features described for this workhorse cable.
The Cordial Jack CRI 3 RP Silent 3 m angled/straight is a great choice if you’re looking for a durable instrument cable with an angled silentPLUG®. Guitarists and bassists in particular will benefit from the combination of silent plugging and unplugging, road-ready cable, and a practical 3-meter length.
Featuring NEUTRIK® connectors, CGK ROAD 75 cable, PVC outer jacket, coaxial construction, and a 500 V test voltage, the Cordial CRI 3 RP Silent 3 m Angled/Straight offers robust specifications for regular use. If you’re looking for a black instrument cable with a 90° silent angled plug and a straight mono jack, this model is an excellent choice.
