The very modern Cut Craft combines cutting-edge, innovative design concepts and traditional materials and manufacturing techniques from leading luthiers in an electric acoustic guitar that refuses to be pigeonholed in any of the traditional ways. With features like fanned fretting, a sound port in the rib, double bevel cut arm rests and the L.R.Baggs M80 pickup system, the Cut Craft is designed for fingerstyle players.
European Spruce Top (Master Grade).
The European spruce top has an incredibly dynamic response and clarity across a wide tonal spectrum, making it equally suited for fingerpicking and strumming. The abundance of harmonics this premium top produces are an absolute highlight of the Cut Craft model.
Masser Mytrlewood body
For a Limited Edition, the use of solid Myrtlewood in Mastergrade quality just lends itself. It delivers a full, but also very open sound with a good amount of crystal clear highs and defined mids for excellent articulation. Myrtlewood of the very highest quality is used here, and the eccentric, very intense grain is a real highlight of the guitar.
Sound Port
The sound port placed in the rib influences the Helmholtz characteristics of the body and improves the dynamics, as well as the treble of the acoustic tone of this guitar. In addition, the player gets a kind of monitor sound hole to better hear the natural sound of the guitar while playing.
Multi-scale scale
The fan fretting provides a higher string tension on the bass strings, making it ideal for drop tuning, besides that, the fan fretting is also very conducive to the playing feel.
L.R.Baggs M80
The magnetic soundhole pickup M80 from L.R.Baggs is specially designed for fingerpickers and reproduces all nuances of string and body vibrations optimally.
Cutaway Bevel & Body Bevel
The Bevel Cut arm rests are not only for comfort while playing, but also preserve the acoustic properties of the body completely, unlike a traditional cutaway. Besides, the lower Bevel Cut provides an additional percussion surface for all fingerstyle players who use percussion elements in their playing.
