The Cort Essence GA4 Natural Semi Gloss Preamp acoustic guitar combines high-quality materials, traditional craftsmanship and modern electronics in a versatile instrument for ambitious acoustic guitarists. The Grand Auditorium design with cutaway enables a balanced sound projection and offers comfortable access to the high registers. With its solid, torrefied Sitka spruce top and elegant natural semi-gloss finish, it is visually and tonally impressive across the board.

The heart of the Essence GA4 is its solid Sitka spruce top, which has been refined using the torrefied aged-to-vintage process. This artificial ageing process ensures a well-rehearsed sound with a quick response, rich dynamics and warm tonal character - just as you would expect from instruments that have been played for many years. In combination with the Hand Scalloped X-Bracing top bracing, the result is a harmoniously tuned sound with excellent resonance.

Mahogany body for warm mids and clarity

Mahogany was used for the back and sides - a tonewood known for its focused mids and balanced sound. The combination of torrefied spruce and mahogany provides a full-bodied sound with presence and character - ideal for singer-songwriters, fingerstyle players and accompanying strumming passages.

High-quality neck for comfortable playability

The glued mahogany neck offers stability and excellent vibration transmission. The rosewood fingerboard (Dalbergia Latifolia) complements the neck with a pleasantly smooth surface, which is ideal for both chord work and solo playing. With a scale length of 648 mm and a nut width of 45 mm, the GA4 is ideal for precise fingering and offers sufficient space for the fingers, even for more complex chords.

Natural materials and elegant details

The use of bone for the nut and saddle ensures optimum sound transmission and long-lasting performance. The Heringbone rosette and matching body binding give the guitar a classic, high-quality appearance. The open-pore , vibration-friendly finish in natural semi-gloss emphasizes the natural wood grain and additionally supports the resonant behavior of the guitar.

A Fishman Presys VT preamp system is installed for amplification. With easily accessible volume and tone controls and a built-in tuner, the guitar is always ready for the stage, studio or rehearsal. The preamp system transmits the acoustic character of the guitar very naturally and allows precise sound control with minimal intervention in the design of the instrument.
