With the Gold Series, Cort introduces a new, fully solid acoustic guitar series with thermally treated ("torrified") tops and bracing. "Age To Vintage" is what Cort calls this process, which mimics the aging process of the top over the decades. So from the beginning you get that wonderfully full, overtone-rich and balanced sound that you know from old, well-rehearsed instruments. The very thin UV varnish of the Gold Series supports the excellent vibration characteristics of the guitar. In addition, as another important element for the best possible sound, the "Doublelock Neckjoint" was developed, which improves the vibration transmission by means of additional bolting of the neck to the body.
