The heart of the sound is the solid Engelmann spruce top in Mastergrade quality. The torrefied Aged To Vintage treatment not only gives the top a beautiful vintage look, but also the tonal maturity of a recorded instrument. The Advanced Scalloped X-Bracing, also "Aged To Vintage", ensures outstanding resonance, direct response and fine dynamics - ideal for nuances in fingerstyle or expressive strumming.
The body is made of solid flamed maple - both back and sides. This high-quality tonewood stands for tight basses, brilliant trebles and outstanding assertiveness. In combination with the Engelmann spruce top, the result is a clearly defined sound with high transparency and ideal projection - perfect for complex arrangements and precise playing.
The Modern Concert design offers a good balance between depth and clarity. The bevel cutaway ensures a high level of playing comfort during longer sessions and at the same time facilitates access to the upper frets. The special double lock neck joint construction guarantees maximum stability and perfect vibration transmission between the neck and body - a feature usually only found on high-end guitars.
The ebony fingerboard offers a fast, precise playing feel with high durability. Abalone dot inlays underline the high-quality appearance. The bridge and pins are also made of ebony, which contributes to optimized vibration transmission. Real bone is used for both the nut and bridge inlay - ideal for natural tone development and precise intonation.
The high-quality L.R. Baggs Anthem system - one of the best pickup systems available for acoustic guitars - takes care of the pickup. It combines an internal microphone with a piezo pickup and thus offers a particularly natural, spatial sound. The control options are discreet and intuitive, making the GOLD PASSION the ideal instrument for live performances, studio recordings and professional stage applications.
The guitar is equipped with golden deluxe vintage tuners that perfectly match the overall look and ensure reliable tuning. The abalone rosette, the black binding with mother-of-pearl purfling and the high-gloss natural finish give the guitar an exclusive aesthetic. The vibration-friendly UV varnish protects the wood without impairing its resonance behavior.
