dBTechnologies presents this new point-source model within the renowned OPERA series that raises the bar - fitting for the company's 50th anniversary.

The OPERA REEVO 212 delivers an astonishing sound pressure level with touring-quality sound definition and remarkable bass extension in a compact and newly designed cabinet. The quasi 3-way configuration delivers a powerful yet pristine sound. This powerful acoustic design is indeed unique in its category, inspired by dBTechnologies Touring series, marking a clear leap upwards in the longest running and most popular dBTechnologies active speaker series ever.

Opera Reevo translates the mix impeccably and adapts the speaker to complex musical material, especially when it is rich in midrange, where separation and clarity can really make a difference to the outcome of any performance.

This is achieved by the coaxial acoustic design, which features a HF horn integrated into the front with diamond-shaped cut-outs to provide comb-filter-free high-frequency reproduction while improving the efficiency of the upper woofer.

A further phase plug improves the efficiency of the lower woofer: this acoustic device significantly improves the transient response and overall behavior of this transducer.

Low-noise reflex ports are integrated into the front panel. The honeycomb structure inside the ports helps to reduce wind turbulence caused by the strong airflow of this powerful speaker.

The model is equipped with a Class-D Digipro G2 amplifier that delivers an impressive power of 1050 W RMS and features advanced DSP processing where linear FIR phase filters enable the systems to deliver coherent audio performance that delivers smooth and crystal clear sound. In addition, Opera Reevo offers factory-customized presets to adapt to different applications, for example as a wedge stage monitor or as a completely stand-alone full-range PA system.

This versatile sound processing works in conjunction with a clever cabinet shape that combines modern design and ease of use. OPERA REEVO can be used as a wedge stage monitor or on a classic speaker stand. In conjunction with a subwoofer, the speaker can be mounted on a 36 mm diameter pole and can also be suspended thanks to the integrated 3 M10 threaded eyelets, making it a perfect addition for fixed installations.

The cabinet has a very compact size compared to the SPL output level of 133 dB, but is equipped with 2 neodymium woofers (12" ) and a 1.75" coaxial compression driver, which reduces the total weight to 20.4 kg.
