The Defender MICRO 2 LUX cable bridge is the perfect solution for the safe routing and protection of high-voltage cables, water hoses, and other lines in demanding event and industrial environments. With two spacious channels, a translucent, yellow-tinted cover for integrating LED light tubes, and the exceptionally slip-resistant and impact-resistant 3D LaserGrip® surface, this medium-sized model offers maximum functionality, visibility, and safety—even in the dark.
The MICRO 2 LUX cable bridge was developed in close collaboration with event organizers, technicians, and operators of large venues and festival grounds. The goal: a robust, durable, and, above all, safe cable protection solution for temporary indoor and outdoor installations. The translucent lid design allows for the installation of light tubes parallel to the cables—ideal for visual identification and maximum visibility at night or in low-light conditions.
The body is made of extremely durable TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), which is shatter- and impact-resistant. With a load capacity of up to 2 metric tons over a 20 x 20 cm area, the MICRO 2 LUX is strong enough for use with passenger cars, light trucks, roll containers, wheelchairs, or bicycle traffic. The LaserGrip® surface, with its unique structure, significantly minimizes the risk of slipping even in wet weather while also preventing entire cable bridge lines from shifting—even under heavy loads.
The two cable channels, measuring 35 x 30 mm, are perfectly suited for the safe routing of high-voltage cables, hoses, and multicore cables. The channels are protected by a highly transparent cover, which is particularly easy to open and close thanks to the patented, self-cleaning hinge and the convenient locking system. This makes maintenance, retrofitting, or replacing cables quick and easy.
The Defender MICRO 2 LUX meets fire protection class B2 in accordance with DIN 4102-1 and is resistant to oil, acid, and gasoline, as well as to brief contact with solvents. It is designed for temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +60 °C, which allows for trouble-free year-round outdoor use. Its flammability rating according to UL 94 V-2 / HB further underscores the professional quality of this product.
With a length of 1,045 mm, a width of 273 mm, and a height of 45 mm, the cable bridge can be easily transported, stored, and combined with other MICRO elements. Its weight of approx. 5.35 kg ensures stability and easy handling. Custom branding is also available upon request—perfect for companies that want to maintain a professional image even in temporary settings.
