The Defender MIDI 5 2D Adapter to MINI Female is a high-quality adapter for connecting the modular MIDI 5 2D system to Defender® MINI cable bridges. Designed for professional use at events, in studios, exhibition halls, or industrial settings, the adapter ensures a seamless, secure, and barrier-free transition between the two systems. Thanks to its 3D LaserGrip® surface, robust TPU housing, and high load-bearing capacity, it is perfectly equipped to handle intensive use.

Modularity Meets Compatibility

The MIDI 5 2D female adapter allows for the direct connection of Defender MINI cable bridges to the MIDI 5 2D system. When paired with the matching male adapter, it creates a seamless, wheelchair-accessible cable bridge system that can be flexibly extended in both width and length. The connection is stable, can be made without tools, and is fully compatible with the patented Defender connection system.

3D LaserGrip® – Maximum Slip Resistance

The surface of the adapter features the proven 3D LaserGrip® texture, which guarantees excellent grip even in wet conditions or under heavy use. Combined with the highly visible, yellow polyurethane cap with a secure locking mechanism, this creates a visually striking and mechanically stable transition solution that performs reliably even in safety-critical areas.

Robust, durable, and weather-resistant

The adapter is made from recycled, shatter-resistant TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and is resistant to oil, gasoline, and brief contact with solvents. It can support up to 2 metric tons per 20 x 20 cm area—enough for rolling containers, vehicles, wheelchairs, or heavy event equipment. The temperature resistance ranges from -30 °C to +60 °C, allowing the adapter to be used year-round both indoors and outdoors.

3-channel layout for professional applications

The three-channel design consists of two channels measuring 35 x 30 mm and a central channel measuring 35 x 35 mm. This allows power lines, audio cables, network cables, or even water hoses to be routed safely and neatly. With a length of 165 mm, width of 1,190 mm, and height of 54 mm, the adapter module integrates perfectly into existing Defender MINI or MIDI 5 2D setups.
