The Defender MIDI 5 2D Adapter to MINI Male is the ideal solution for a seamless transition between the modular MIDI 5 2D system and the proven Defender® MINI cable bridges. The adapter ensures a secure, durable connection between both series, thereby enabling unrestricted combinability in width and length. With its robust construction, non-slip 3D Lasergrip cover, and compatibility with wheelchair-accessible MIDI ramps, it is perfectly suited for a wide range of applications in events, trade shows, studios, and industrial settings.

The adapter was specifically designed to connect the MIDI 5 2D modular system—which features flat ramps and barrier-free transitions—directly to existing MINI cable bridges. This allows users to create a seamless, wheelchair-accessible cable bridge layout that combines elements from both systems and can be customized to fit any spatial configuration. Assembly is tool-free thanks to the patented connection system.

The adapter is made of recycled, shatter-resistant TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and withstands the most demanding conditions. This makes it suitable for both indoor events and year-round outdoor use.

Three-channel design for professional applications

The adapter features three continuous channels, two of which measure 35 x 30 mm and one central channel measuring 35 x 35 mm. This allows even larger power lines, water hoses, or multicore cables to be routed safely. With a length of 165 mm, a width of 1,190 mm, and a height of 54 mm, it is perfectly matched to MIDI 5 2D and MINI components and ensures stable transitions at floor level.
