The Defender MINI + NANO LID | LUX is an original replacement cover for the Defender® MINI and NANO cable bridges and ensures optimal functionality, durability, and safety—even with heavy use. Equipped with a highly transparent, yellow-tinted polyurethane cover, it is LUX-compatible and allows for the integration of LED tube lights (DEFENDER® LUX Tube Light) for maximum visibility in the dark and in safety-critical areas.

Optimal visibility thanks to LUX technology

Thanks to its translucent yellow tint, the cover is ideal for use with light tubes that run parallel to cables and clearly highlight the cable bridge in low-visibility conditions. The visual warning effect is particularly advantageous at indoor events, stage setups, trade show booths, in warehouses, or at dark outdoor locations. The cover is compatible with standard light tubes and is especially recommended for tube systems with a neon effect.

Robust, slip-resistant, and durable

Made of high-quality TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), the replacement cover is extremely shatter- and impact-resistant as well as chemical-resistant (against oil, gasoline, acid, and brief contact with solvents). The ribbed surface texture ensures slip resistance and provides a secure footing—even when wet or in busy environments.

Patented self-cleaning hinge

The cover is equipped with the patented self-cleaning hinge, which functions reliably even in dusty or dirty environments. The sturdy locking mechanism ensures a secure fit and reliably protects cables from mechanical stress and weather conditions. The cover can be installed without tools and is fully compatible with existing MINI or NANO base elements.

Safety and Certification

With a load-bearing capacity of up to 2 metric tons over a 20 x 20 cm area, the cover is ideally suited for use in areas with light vehicle, pedestrian, or transport traffic. The fire resistance classification B2 according to DIN 4102-1, as well as UL 94 V-2 / HB and the TÜV Süd certification, underscore the professional quality of this replacement part. The new DIN EN 13501-1 classification B-s1 has also already been applied for.
