The Defender MINI LUX 3-channel cable bridge is the ideal solution for temporary cable protection under moderate loads—both indoors and in protected outdoor areas. With a highly transparent, yellow-tinted cover and TÜV-certified quality, it offers maximum safety, visibility, and load-bearing capacity with minimal height. Thanks to its LUX technology, LED light tubes can be integrated into the cover to make the cable bridge highly visible even in the dark—ideal for events, trade shows, studios, and more.
The MINI LUX series was developed in close collaboration with event organizers and technicians to make cable protection systems even safer. The highly transparent, yellow-tinted cover allows LED light tubes to be laid parallel to the cables. This drastically increases visibility in low-light conditions and minimizes the risk of tripping—a crucial advantage at nighttime events, in dark studios, or under changing lighting conditions.
With a height of just 50 mm and a weight of only 5.85 kg, the Defender MINI LUX is particularly compact and easy to handle. Nevertheless, it offers a load capacity of up to 2 tons over an area of 20 x 20 cm —sufficient for pedestrians, carts, bicycles, and light vehicles. Three channels are available: one larger channel measuring 35 x 35 mm and two channels measuring 35 x 30 mm, ideal for power cables, water hoses, or network installations.
The top surface features a ribbed texture that ensures enhanced slip resistance. The lid closure uses a patented, self-cleaning hinge that works reliably even in the presence of dust, sand, or mud and can be opened without tools. The integrated locking system ensures a stable connection between multiple cable bridge modules.
Made of high-quality TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), the MINI LUX is resistant to oil, acid, gasoline, and brief contact with solvents. The hardness rating is 88 Shore A, making the bridge both elastic and extremely robust. It can be used in a temperature range from -30 °C to +60 °C. The fire safety classification complies with B2 according to DIN 4102 and UL 94 V-2 / HB – ideal for professional use in safety-critical environments.
End pieces (male/female) are available separately for neat transitions. These allow for barrier-free entry and exit of cables and further enhance safety at the beginning and end of each cable bridge line. Thanks to its modular design, the MINI LUX can be expanded as needed and adapted to any environment. Standard light tubes can be installed without any issues— LED tubes with a neon effect are particularly recommended to achieve a uniform lighting effect.
