Duke Basis C 63/48 Cut 7/8 Konzertgitarre Product Details

Description

Duke Basis C 63/48 Cut 7/8 classical guitar

The Duke Basis C 63/48 Cut 7/8 classical guitar is a high-quality crossover model that combines classic construction with modern playing requirements. Thanks to its cutaway, narrower neck and etched fingerboard, this guitar is particularly suitable for players who are switching from an acoustic guitar to a classical guitar or are looking for more playing comfort in higher registers - without sacrificing the tonal advantages of a classical guitar.

Solid cedar top and bubinga body

The guitar's top is made of solid Canadian cedar and offers a warm, direct tone with a strong response. The back and sides are made of bubinga - a decorative, powerful-sounding tonewood with brilliant highs and powerful mids. This combination of woods ensures a balanced, assertive sound character - both for solo and accompaniment playing.

Comfortable neck with crossover dimensions

The cedro neck is reinforced with rosewood and has a slightly curved fingerboard made of East Indian rosewood, which ensures a comfortable grip and fluid changes of position. With a scale length of 630 mm and a nut width of 48 mm, the guitar is ideal for anyone looking for the comfort of a narrower concert guitar with a classic sound. The cutaway allows easy access to the higher frets.

High-quality fittings and final inspection in Germany

Duke also relies on first-class components for the basic C 63/48 Cut: saddle and bridge inlay made of real bone, precise DER JUNG tuners, an elegant high-gloss finish and binding made of East Indian rosewood. Before shipping, each guitar is carefully checked, adjusted and tonally optimized by professional luthiers in Tübingen (Germany) - for maximum playability and perfect sound from the very first note.
