The Duke Basis MF 52 1/2 classical guitar is a high-quality, half-size instrument, ideal for children aged 6 and over or players with smaller hands. With its solid top, carefully selected materials and handcrafted final inspection, it offers optimal conditions for a successful introduction to the world of classical guitar - both in lessons and when practicing at home.
The top of the guitar is made of solid Swiss spruce and ensures a direct response and a warm, balanced sound. The mahogany back and sides complement the sound with pleasant depth and warmth. This combination produces a clear, sustaining tone - ideal for young beginners with musical aspirations.
The cedro neck is equipped with rosewood reinforcement and, together with the fingerboard made of East Indian rosewood, provides a stable and comfortable playing surface. The bridge, also made of rosewood, contributes to the excellent sound transmission. The nut and bridge inlay are made of bone for high sound fidelity and good resonance. The tuners come from the quality manufacturer DER JUNG and guarantee reliable tuning stability.
Like all models in the Duke Basis series, the MF 52 1/2 is carefully checked, adjusted and optimized by experienced luthiers in Tübingen (Germany) before shipping. This ensures that every guitar is delivered perfectly playable and cleanly intonated - a significant advantage, especially for beginners.
