Description

The TS 100 2-way full-range cabinet with a rated power handling of 150W / RMS is optimized for multifunctional applications in terms of both acoustic and mechanical design.

Certified mounting accessories and an unobtrusive optical design allow the TS 100 to be used even in the most demanding environments. The application area of the TS 100 is thus very comprehensive and ranges from entertainment installations in bistros, clubs and restaurants to AV applications in e.g. boardrooms, trade fairs and hotels or as front fill in theaters. Due to its nominal impedance of 16 ohms, up to eight TS 100s can be driven by one power amplifier channel.

Weighing only 7.1 kg, the TS 100 also shows its true size in mobile use as a super-compact, extremely lightweight PA system (e.g. with PowerSub 312) and impresses with a lot of power and excellent sound characteristics.

An extremely low-distortion DND 6130-16 neodymium chassis is used for the low and mid-range. The high frequency range is radiated by a Constant Directivity HPT94 tweeter horn, which can be easily rotated by 90° for horizontal applications. The driver is an Electro-Voice DH3 which is characterized by a brilliant high frequency reproduction. All speakers are electronically protected against thermal overload.

In the bottom of the cabinet there is a recess for high stand rods. For installation applications in which this flange is visually undesirable, a base part without this opening is included, which can be replaced in the simplest way.

For permanent installation, the WMK-10 mounting kit is available as an option. Flown use in the truss is made possible with the optional flykit FB-TS400. Also available as an accessory is the practical carrying bag SH-TS100.

Linear-Phase FIR (Finite Impulse Response) factory presets and presets for conventional digital controllers are available.

With the U-TK Transformer Kit, our low-impedance speakers can be converted into high-impedance speakers. In this way, our high-performance loudspeakers can also be used in all ELA installations that are operated via 100 V loudspeaker lines.
