In APA 2000 ECLER features "CHANNEL N" SPM Technology, which makes use of N-channel MOSFETs for very high output power. This new technology has been proved extremely well in our industrial sound system "Ecler-enviro" in order to obtain very high output power without the need of bridged configurations. More than 900 + 900 W RMS per channel at 4 ohms.
Main Features
Input gain controls on the front panel with anti-manipulation system
Input signal presence indicators (above 40 dB) and clipping indicators (1,5 dB below real clipping)
Balanced Inputs via XLR connectors
Stack-Out outputs via Jack connectors
Speak-on output connectors
Built-in Anticlip and subsonic filters
Temperature controlled forced ventilation
Totally and effectively protected
All units are two rack units high.
Suitable for TAWA PROCESSOR MODULES, and UCM 20, directly connectable in back panel.
The best Damping in an amplifier of its class
In the APA series, the typical output relays have been substituted with an electronic CROW BAR system. This device shunts to ground any signal in case of high voltages which could damage the connected speakers. Any kind of relay introduces a mechanical contact in the path of the audio signal to the loudspeakers. This contact implies a certain degree of wearing and an important reduction of the amplifiers damping factor. To minimize this implicit loss, the use of premium quality relays is obligatory, as in ECLERs professional PAM amplifier series.
