Description

The SAM mixer series has been specially designed for all public address and communication systems requiring a minimum risk of unwanted external manipulation. Frequently used controls are easily accessible, while more specific adjustments remain only accessible with a screwdriver. These units are very easy to use, even for non-technical persons. All this is packed into a compact, 1 unit high, 19'' rack unit.

  5 mixable channels with 2 direct inputs per channel. No input selector both inputs are permanently active.

 Each channel features one BALANCED MICROPHONE input (¼'' Stereo Jack) and one stereo LINE input. The nominal input sensitivity for both inputs can be internally configured.

 Channel 1 - INPUT 1 - additionally features a direct microphone input on the unit's front panel.

 Direct access to the main bus (MIX) for straightforward connection of further mixers, without taking up an input channel.

 General, 3-band tone control, accessible with screwdriver.

 L & R output level meters.

   

 Two main stereo outputs with shared volume control. OUT 1 uses RCA connectors, while OUT 2 features ¼'' Stereo Jack connectors in BALANCED configuration. Four different nominal output levels can be selected internally.

 Two recording outputs REC 1/ 2 via RCA connectors. One is affected by the tone controls, while the other is not.

 Mono / Stereo selector on the unit's rear panel.

 The monitoring system consists of a high impedance headphones output with separate volume control and PFL assignment switches (Pre Fader Listening) for each channel.

 Internally selectable PHANTOM power supply for each MIC input.

 Optional Talkover. This system automatically attenuates the music at an incoming voice. The optional TK 04 card enables the talkover function on input 1 (MIC) over the rest of musical channels.
