The Eikon DMH8XL consists of eight microphones:

• 1 x Eikon DM12 - Bass drum microphone: dynamic microphone with supercardioid characteristic. Ideal for close miking of the kick drum. Delivers powerful low frequencies with fast transient imaging. Robust construction, high sound pressure tolerance (up to 152 dB SPL).
• 4 x Eikon DM1 - snare/tom microphones: Dynamic microphones with cardioid characteristic. Optimized for miking toms, snare and percussion. Compact, lightweight and robust - ideal for use in confined spaces and live on stage.
• 3 x Eikon CM602 - overhead/cymbal microphones: small diaphragm condenser microphones with unidirectional polar pattern. Perfectly suited for hi-hats, cymbals or as overhead mics. High resolution, low self-noise level and +48V phantom power required.

Four APM47 rim clamps are included for mounting the DM1 microphones, allowing you to attach the microphones directly to the drum shell - without the need for an additional stand. The microphones are supplied in an ABS hard case for safe transportation and storage.
