With the Electro-Harmonix Pico Swello, EHX brings the unique attack envelope effect of the popular POG2 into an ultra-compact housing - extended by a modulatable low-pass filter for even more sound variety. Whether smooth volume swells, polyphonic reverse effects or expressive synth pads - the Pico Swello opens up new creative expression possibilities for guitarists, bassists and sound tinkerers.
The polyphonic attack filter takes center stage, providing each note - even in chords - with an individual envelope. This creates natural, flowing swells, ideal for ambient, post-rock, fusion or modern pop productions. The sensitivity of the attack time can be infinitely adjusted from fast to slow increases using the ATTACK control.
At the touch of a button, the FILTER switch activates the built-in low-pass filter, which operates in two resonance stages (low/high). The FREQ control regulates the cutoff frequency, while the MOD control determines the modulation depth and direction - for lively sweep effects that are directly linked to the attack time. This turns every sound into a means of expression with depth and movement.
With just four controls(VOL, ATTACK, FREQ, MOD) and a switch for the filter, the Pico Swello is extremely easy to use. The buffered bypass design ensures clean signal routing - even in complex effects chains. Thanks to the mono audio and compact pico chassis, the pedal fits on any board.
