Description

With the D6-58 acoustic combo, the Californian manufacturer Elite Acoustics Engineering, completes its series of battery-powered acoustic amplifiers. The EAE D6-58 works preferably in stand-alone mode, but can also be expanded to a mini PA with additional active components. Four mono channels and one stereo channel can thus amplify a three- to four-piece band. An integrated mixing unit offers various effects such as chorus, reverb, delay, compressor, gate and notch filter and is driven by a powerful 32-bit DSP engine. The combo is equipped with three speakers, an 8" woofer for the balls, a 5.25" for the mids, and a 1" silk-dome tweeter.

The sturdy MDF frame, covered with black leatherette, provides the enclosure for the electronics, which are housed in an additionally inserted metal box. The corners of the case are protected by eight metal protectors and four plastic glides keep the combo securely in place. On the right side, an integrated 35 mm flange offers the possibility to mount the Combo (then upright) on a tripod. An elastic plastic handle on the top, allows for comfortable transport. The rechargeable 11000 mAh LifePO4 battery (lithium iron phosphate) sits in a battery compartment behind a cover on the back and promises a runtime of 4 to 6 hours.With the red battery switch on the back, the D6-58 can be put into charging mode, the included power supply also serves as a charger. However, the battery can also be charged via the included DC cable at the 12V port of a car.
