The Epiphone Extura Prophecy Purple Tiger Aged Gloss offers an iconic body shape with a modern twist for musicians who want to break with tradition and set new standards in terms of speed, sound and technology. The new Extura body combines the Gibson Explorer™ with the slimmer shape and deeper cutaway of the Gibson Futura™. At its heart is a pair of custom-tuned Fishman Fluence® pickups, which deliver three different tones - a warm Gibson BurstBucker™ "Patent Applied For" Vintage Humbucker™, a modern humbucker and a shimmering, optimized single-coil sound, all selectable via push/pull pots for volume and tone. The Prophecy Extura also features Grover® Locking Rotomatic® tuning machines, Epiphone's LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and tailpiece for more sustain. It is also equipped with a GraphTech® NuBone® nut, which amplifies the overtone content and increases tuning stability. An ebony fingerboard, jumbo frets and an asymmetrical SlimTaper™ neck provide the necessary comfort and speed.
