The LTD Black Metal series guitars are comparable in build quality to the LTD Deluxe "1000 Series" instruments, but have a dark and menacing design with all-black finish, components and hardware, a high quality pickup, Macassar Ebony fingerboards with no inlays and glowing side markers, and even a black LTD Metal logo on the headstock. The Phoenix Black Metal brings the standout Phoenix shape to the Black Metal design, with a neck-through-body construction using a three-piece mahogany neck and body wings. With the Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickup, which has a push-pull control to select voicings, this guitar offers great tonal variety. The guitar is also equipped with a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, as well as LTD locking tuners.
