Based on the advanced ARM architecture also used in Eventide's most powerful effects processor, the H9000 Harmonizer, the H90 sets new standards in sound processing. In addition to the iconic effects such as reverb, delay, modulation and pitch shifting of the H9 Max, the H90 offers 14 other advanced algorithms such as Polyphonic Pitch Shifting technology, which uses Eventide's proprietary SIFT (Spectral Instantaneous Frequency Tracking) technology to provide seamless and latency-free pitch changes. This device is therefore ideal for artists who want to explore new creative paths in the world of sound.
The H90 Harmonizer offers a dual algorithm architecture that makes it possible to combine two effect algorithms simultaneously in one program. Thanks to the true spillover function, a seamless transition between programs is possible, while the effects can be connected either in series or in parallel. With flexible inputs and outputs and the ability to use two mono inserts or one stereo insert, the H90 can function both as a stand-alone effects unit and as the central element of a complex setup.
The H90 Harmonizer is equipped with a wide range of connection options to integrate seamlessly into any setup. It has four inputs and four outputs (6.35 mm mono jack connections), two expression-capable inputs for expression pedals, aux switches or CV signals and USB-C connection for control, firmware updates and MIDI. In addition, the H90 offers both MIDI inputs and outputs (5-pin DIN connectors), ensuring compatibility with almost all modern devices. This versatility makes the H90 an ideal solution for musicians who want to design their effects chains flexibly and individually.
The Eventide H90 is a real performance powerhouse for live use. With five push knobs, seven LED buttons and a high-resolution OLED display, the H90 offers a wide range of control options directly on the front panel. In PERFORM mode, six programmable footswitches are available with which functions such as tap tempo, insert bypass and performance parameters such as reverb freeze, pitch flex or delay repeat can be flexibly adjusted. In addition, three HotSwitches allow instant adjustment of several parameters at the touch of a button.
The comprehensive user interface allows each parameter to be controlled easily and intuitively. The PERFORM HotKnob allows expression assignments to be adjusted manually, and up to six parameters can be set using the three Quick Knobs. For even more control, the two expression inputs can be used to connect up to three buttons via additional switches. MIDI support allows additional parameters to be controlled - a real advantage for complex performance setups.
The H90 offers a comprehensive range of technical features designed for demanding applications. With 66 effect algorithms, including 14 new and unique algorithms such as Polyphony, PolyFlex, PolySynth and SP2016 Reverb, the H90 offers an unparalleled variety of sounds. The new ARM-based architecture of the H90 Harmonizer forms the basis for future expansions and effects. The device supports instrument and line levels and has two mono inserts or a stereo insert that can be positioned anywhere in the signal flow. The H90 also offers a dual-mode option for independent processing of two stereo signals. With five push knobs and two expression inputs for pedals or switches, the H90 is designed for intuitive and convenient control. The H90 Control software on iPad, Mac or PC enables comprehensive editing of programs and the creation of setlists.
The H90 Harmonizer from Eventide provides musicians with an effects unit that is optimized for both live performances and the studio.
