The Fender 2024 Collection Made in Japan Hybrid II Strat HSS Forest Blue combines the classic Stratocaster® design with modern features and premium Japanese craftsmanship. This limited edition of the popular Hybrid II series impresses with a tonally balanced HSS pickup set, a comfortable Modern "C" neck profile and high-quality components that are equally suitable for studio, stage and everyday use. The elegant Forest Blue finish gives the instrument an exclusive look that immediately catches the eye.
Made in Japan - at Fender, this stands for exceptional precision, flawless manufacturing and well thought-out design. The Hybrid II Stratocaster® in this version combines tradition and modernity in an elegant way and offers an excellent platform for discerning guitarists who want to combine classic sounds with modern requirements.
The foundation of the Hybrid II Strat is a classic alder body in ST-style construction. In combination with the newly developed Hybrid II pickups, the result is a flexible sound for a wide variety of musical styles. The HSS configuration provides the best of both worlds: powerful, warm lead sounds from the bridge humbucker and brilliant single-coil tone from the neck and middle position.
Thanks to the integrated push/pull tone control, the bridge humbucker can be split, giving you classic single-coil sounds with more transparency and articulation if desired. All common pickup combinations can be selected quickly and intuitively via the 5-way switch - ideal for live situations and dynamic playing.
The bolt-on maple neck has a comfortable Modern "C" profile, which is ideal for both chord work and fast lead lines. The rosewood fingerboard offers a warm response and is fitted with white dot inlays. The fingerboard radius of 9.5" and 22 frets provide a modern playing feel with a classic look.
The scale length of 25.5" ensures a crisp response and tight string tension - in keeping with the Strat-typical feel. Thanks to the combination of careful workmanship and high-quality materials, this neck delivers outstanding playing comfort in all positions.
For maximum tuning stability and sensitive vibrato playing, the guitar is equipped with a Fender 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Bent Steel Saddles. This bridge combines modern performance with traditional sound characteristics and is ideal for expressive playing techniques. The entire hardware is finished in nickel/chrome and underlines the high-quality overall appearance of the guitar.
Other features include knurled controls for volume and tone, a black switch tip and a 3-ply pickguard, which further emphasizes the look of the Strat. A matching gig bag is also included to protect your instrument - whether you're traveling or in everyday life.
