The sonic heart of this Stratocaster® is formed by the three Coastline™ '57 single-coil pickups, which provide crystal-clear highs, balanced mids and defined basses - the classic, sparkling Strat tone in perfection. The middle pickup is reverse wound / reverse polarity (RWRP), which reduces hum in the intermediate positions. The Greasebucket™ Tone circuit allows the treble to be cut without boosting the bass - for precise control over the sound character.
The 5-way switch allows you to switch between classic Stratocaster® sound combinations - from crunchy funk rhythms to warm, singing lead sounds.
The modern "C" neck sits comfortably in the hand and offers optimum ergonomics for every playing style. With a 9.5" fingerboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, the rosewood fingerboard is ideal for precise fingering, fast bending and clean vibrato. The satin urethane neck finish provides a smooth, grippy surface that feels comfortable at any temperature.
The vintage-style ClassicGear™ Staggered tuners guarantee excellent tuning stability and contribute to the authentic Fender look. The offset design of the tuners increases the string pressure on the nut, which ensures a clean vibration behavior of the strings.
The alder body has a glossy urethane finish that emphasizes the grain of the wood while ensuring durability. The 3-ply mint green pickguard, the vintage hardware and the aged white plastic parts give the guitar an authentic, slightly aged look. The vintage-style 6-point tremolo system provides smooth, precise vibrato effects.
