The body of the Fender American Vintage II 1963 Telecaster Vintage Blonde electric guitar is made of ash and features a classic solid-body design in the Telecaster® shape. The finish is a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. The Vintage Blonde color accentuates the traditional look and pairs perfectly with the 1-ply white pickguard and nickel/chrome hardware.
Two Pure Vintage ’63 single-coil Tele® pickups deliver the signature sound. The bridge is mounted using the 4-screw vintage-style setup. A chrome bridge cover is included and rounds out the historic features.
Additional hardware includes Pure Vintage Single Line “Fender Deluxe” tuning machines, a butterfly string tree, vintage-style strap buttons, knurled flat-top volume and tone knobs, and a black top-hat-style switch cap. The headstock features a 4-bolt serialized design. The guitar is strung with Fender® USA 250R nickel-plated steel strings in gauges .010–.046.
The electronics feature a classic, straightforward layout. Master Volume and Master Tone controls shape the sound, while the 3-position blade switch offers three pickup combinations. Position 1 activates the bridge pickup, Position 2 combines the bridge and neck pickups, and Position 3 selects the neck pickup.
